About

FamilyCLO (Chief Learning Officer) was established in 2013 to help business owning families and family enterprises with family learning and development, and governance initiatives. The goal of FamilyCLO is to meet families where they are and take them to the next level or make a referral to a helpful resource.

Mission – To create lasting, transformational impact for individuals and families that enables them to be wildly successful.

Jennifer Muntz is a skilled and passionate Chief Learning Officer who specializes in family learning, and family governance. She has extensive experience in family dynamics, education, training, and organizational development.

“Growing up in an entrepreneurial business family, I understand first-hand how education, trust and communication impact family relationships, family businesses and family enterprises.”

She began her career in the non-profit world, helping re-unify families after abuse and neglect situations and teaching people with mental illness job skills and socialization skills.  Her career transitioned into managing corporate training and organizational development at Ford Motor Company and CibaVision, a Novartis Company.

While at Family Office Exchange (FOX) she became intimately involved in the family office and family wealth arena.  She developed and facilitated virtual and in-person education programs, authored the “FOX Guide to Family Education”, co-led the NextGen Network and consulted with families and family offices.

Upon leaving FOX, Jennifer founded FamilyCLO, a collaborative partner focused on developing families and achieving results.  One of her first clients was Family Business Network (FBN-USA), after 3 years, the Board of Directors hired Jennifer as the first Executive Director in 2017.

She holds a B.S in Psychology, an MBA and has been an active member of the Association of Training and Development (ASTD) since 2007. She volunteers at Give Kids the World Village, a whimsical nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, Florida, that provides week-long, cost-free wish vacations to critically ill children and their families from around the world.  Jennifer is also a court appointed Guardian ad Litem, a child advocate for troubled teenagers placed in foster care.
